About the DMC

The Drew Mathieson Center for Horticultural and Agricultural Technology (DMC) is one of Western Pennsylvania’s premier educational greenhouses. The 40,000 square foot complex is situated on the Manchester Bidwell Corporation campus and was established as a nonprofit wholesale greenhouse. The Drew Mathieson Center partners with Bidwell Training Center to provide a home to BTC’s Horticulture Technology Program.

The Drew Mathieson Center greenhouse offers locally grown, boutique quality Phalaenopsis Orchids and a variety of annuals, ferns, and herbs year-round. Our seasonal offerings include Poinsettias, hardy Hydrangeas, hardy Hibiscus, premium hanging baskets, and an assortment of unique vegetables.

Whatever the occasion, whether to brighten your home, your business, or someone’s day, the DMC has the perfect plant for you. By incorporating our plants into your life, you are helping to support the nonprofit educational programs of Manchester Bidwell Corporation.

The DMC is currently developing youth horticultural and agricultural programming and expanding its educational community outreach. We continue to seek out partner organizations to expand urban sustainable agriculture and environmental outreach throughout our local communities.
